"Quick Pit" for key changes
Here's the quick and easy method for updating your AVR for the recent key
change....
this will keep your CAM out of the stream and therefore avoid any kill-packets
for
subscription down-grades or cancellations....and also this will avoid
unnecessary wear and tear
on your AVR by doing a Full Monty every time there is a key change...
-power down IRD
-remove AVR from IRD
-DO NOT put CAM in the IRD alone
-connect to your PC
-open Jeepers
-click READ (right beside Full Monty)
-click GET (in the Keys section)
-wait for new keys to load
-click WRITE (in the Keys section)
-takes 1 - 2 seconds to write keys
-remove AVR, put CAM back in AVR, insert AVR in IRD and away you go....
