What
software is required?
The most common program used to interact with your AVR and/or Atmega128 is called
Jeepers. The most current version as of this time is 2.1.0. This file can be
found here Jeepers 2.1.0.
Jeepers generally contains all the "sub software"; that is the actual
programs that will be put on your AVR/Atmega128. This software will change from
time to time. The usual procedure is to unzip the ".pfg" file (the
format of the raw file) into your Jeepers directory, which in turn, will allow
Jeepers to read it. See the miscellaneous entry on using
WinZip if you are unfamiliar with zip files.
There are various other utilities that will be referred to in this document.
They can be downloaded from http://www.evuavr3.com/files.html.
Xcel 3.0 - this software is used for editing your bin files when using emulation
Flashedit - excellent TSOP bin reader. Easy modification of boxkeys and IRD#
WinZip - Windows based
compression utility
Emulation software (see the emulation sections)
Jkeys2.x - use this software to extract boxkeys
